Instructions to Authors for XI International Symposium on the Mediterranean Pig Book of Abstracts
The text of the abstract must be prepared using a standard word processing programme (preferably Microsoft Word in .doc or .rtf format). The pages should be A4 size. The font should be Times New Roman 12 pt (justified) for the text and font Symbol (e.g. µ, ß, etc...) for the symbols; italic for et al., vs, etc...
The lines should be single-spaced and left numbered to facilitate the work of the referees.
The maximum length of the abstract is 500 words (or 2500 characters including spaces) and must fit on one page. Tables, graphs, drawings, etc. are not allowed in the abstract.
General standards
Abstracts should include:
Title: upper and lower-case letters, bold face (Times New Roman 16).
Authors: full name in upper and lower-case letters.
Authors' current institutional affiliation: in original language (plus country in English) and with numerical footnotes.
Corresponding author: Paul White (paul.white@eu.org).
The abstract also includes the specific objectives, experimental methods, statistical analyses, results, and conclusions.
With an abstract, cite up to five keywords, separated by commas.
To send an abstract, mark the document with the section code and with the surname of the first author (e.g. 1Surname) and send it in the electronic form to the e-mail address: medpig2022@agr.hr

3 Animal Health, Physiology, Welfare and Reproduction
4 Meat and Product Quality, Innovations and Traceability
5 Socio-Economic Aspects
